I love hearing unusual words in everyday vocabulary. It excites me to hear my boys expand their word count. Whereas when I use uncommon word in work my boss just tells me to talk normally, he likes the simple terms.

Do new words peak your interest enough for you to find out what they mean or could you care less?

* Hands pixiedawn her coat *

There was a time where i used to learn the meaning of a new
word every day, and then challenge myself to put it to use.
Must start doing it again........

Hallelujah not a new word but a beautiful sounding word recently newly appreciated by the song I can't stop listening to Hallelujah.

I like learning new words. I normally forget them pretty quickly but it's nice when I hear someone else using them.

I like the word plethora and heard it twice today. Besides sounding like an extinct sea creature, it really does proffer disparate abundance.

That is really cool way of saying things, me unfortunately, I need to hear them, those words make sense but,I need to put a visual to them, otherwise they are lost to me.
